These tutorials are NOT duplicates of the Gry Garness Photoshop eBooks, but can be seen as a complement to the books. For example, the Actions tutorial here delves a little deeper than the Actions tutorial in the Retouching book – simply because here I have the luxury of dedicating 6 pages to it. The Raw Workflow CS3 complements the Adobe Camenra Raw converter tutorials in both the Retouching book and the Color Optimization book. The Black & White tutorials explain the basics of working digitally in monochrome, and are a must-have for those who strive to emulate the darkroom print. Although none of the tutorials are duplicates, they are written in the same style as the PDF books. While we all like a freebie, I'd recommend coming back to buy the eBooks, because these books give a more comprehensive overview of the different Photoshop areas of interest. If you for example have issues with printing and colour fidelity in your workflow, take a look at the Color Management book. If your main interest is retouching people, the Digital Retouching book is invaluable. If Photoshop colour correction intigues and mystifies you, look no further than the Color Optimization book.
